OUR STORY
Every dream begins with a spark. For us, that spark was the joy we saw on children’s faces the moment they touched a soccer ball. What started as a small group of kids playing together has grown into something much greater a community built on passion, teamwork, and the belief that every child deserves the chance to dream big.
We founded Dearborn United Soccer Academy (DUSA) with one goal in mind: to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where kids could learn more than just soccer. We wanted them to build confidence, discipline, friendships, and memories that last a lifetime.
From those first sessions on the field to where we are today, our story has always been about people players, families, and coaches coming together with a shared love for the game. Along the way, we’ve seen shy kids find their voice, determined players sharpen their skills, and teams grow into families.
Our journey is still unfolding, and every child who joins us becomes part of our story. Together, we’re shaping not only better players, but better leaders and dreamers one goal, one game, one moment at a time.

A Complete Approach to Player Development
At Dearborn United Soccer Academy, player development goes beyond training sessions. Our programs provide a structured pathway that combines professional coaching, competitive match experience, individualized development, performance tracking, recognition, and family engagement.
Our goal is to create an environment where every player has the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, compete, and continuously progress.
MONTHLY TRAINING PROGRAM
Train. Develop. Improve.
Our structured Monthly Training Program provides players with two training sessions per week, led by experienced coaches and designed around consistent, long-term development.
Training focuses on the essential areas of player development, including technical ability, ball control, passing, shooting, dribbling, fitness, tactical understanding, teamwork, confidence, and discipline.
Through consistent coaching and purposeful training, players are encouraged to build strong fundamentals while developing the skills and mindset needed to perform at a higher level.

WSSL COMPETITIVE LEAGUE
Train With Purpose. Compete With Confidence.
Player development continues beyond the training field. Competitive matches give players the opportunity to apply what they have learned in real-game situations.
Our teams participate in the WSSL Competitive League, competing in 8 games per season across 2 seasons each year.
League competition provides valuable match experience while helping players strengthen their decision-making, confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, tactical awareness, and understanding of the game.
Players train with purpose and gain the experience necessary to become more confident and complete competitors.
PRIVATE TRAINING
Personalized Coaching. Focused Development.
For players seeking additional development, Dearborn United Soccer Academy offers private training in a focused environment with one coach and one or two players.
Each session can be tailored to the player's individual needs, allowing our coaches to identify specific areas for improvement and provide targeted instruction.
Private training can focus on areas such as shooting, passing, dribbling, first touch, ball control, confidence, and overall technical development.
With more individualized attention and repetition, players can address specific weaknesses, strengthen their abilities, and accelerate their development.
LIVE GAME STREAMING TRAINING
Stay Connected. Never Miss the Action.
We understand that parents, relatives, and supporters cannot always attend every match in person.
Selected Dearborn United Soccer Academy games are live-streamed on YouTube, giving families the opportunity to watch and support their players from wherever they are.
Whether you are at home, traveling, or unable to attend the match, you can still stay connected and be part of the experience.
MONTHLY PLAYER ASSESSMENT
We Don't Just Train Players. We Track Their Development.
Our Monthly Player Assessment is a key part of the Dearborn United Soccer Academy development system.
Every month, our coaching staff evaluates each player's progress across important areas of soccer development, including:

Technical Skills, Ball Control, Passing, Shooting, Dribbling, Physical Development, Tactical Understanding, Mental Development, Discipline & Attitude, Teamwork, Effort & Commitment.
Each player receives individual ratings and coaching feedback, providing parents with a clear understanding of their child's current level, strengths, areas for improvement, and overall development.
Completed assessments are sent directly to parents by email each month, creating a consistent connection between players, parents, and coaches.
By regularly evaluating progress, our coaches can identify areas that need additional attention, recognize improvement, and establish clear development goals for each player.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Recognizing Effort, Improvement & Character.
Development is about more than talent. It is also about commitment, discipline, attitude, effort, and character.
Each month, our coaching staff selects a Player of the Month from each team based on qualities such as:
Improvement • Effort • Discipline • Attitude • Teamwork • Commitment • Work Ethic
Selected players receive a special Player of the Month Certificate recognizing their achievement.
This program allows us to celebrate not only strong performance, but also the players who consistently work hard, continue improving, support their teammates, and represent the values of Dearborn United Soccer Academy.
